Gear

When I started taking professional photographs, I had one cheap camera and one lens. I used that set up for years and I learned a lot using a very simple set up. I recommend it for anyone starting out. You do not need new or expensive gear to take great photographs, you need to learn how see and compose. With that being said, having fast lenses and bodies can help us get the images you have in mind. Over the years of taking photos, I have slowly grown my gear collection and but I have learned that less is truly more. If anything, I am always trying to pair down my gear to my favorite must haves and when I go on assignment, I try to take the minimal amount of gear I can get away with. Below is a list of gear I currently use and recommend.
